In China we can criticize Darwin, but not the government; in America, you can criticize the government, but not Darwin!*

At least since the 19th century powerful naturalists hijacked the world of mainstream science and run its educational system. This means they get to decide what people around the world are taught about science and evolution, and what not. Evolution theory is based on the unprovable philosophies naturalism and uniformitarianism which have to be taken by faith. But the world of mainstream science sells evolution theory based on these unprovable philosophies as a fact and as science. People with other worldviews run the risk of being ridiculed or even expelled by the evolutionary establishment. Some key organizations involved in this are NCSE, NAS, AAAS and Talk Origins.
NCSE
The National Center for Science Education (NCSE) is a not-for-profit membership organization in the United States whose stated mission is to educate the press and the public on the scientific and educational aspects of controversies surrounding the teaching of evolution and climate change, and to provide information and resources to schools, parents, and other citizens working to keep those topics in public school science education.*

The NCSE is a pro-evolution mainstream science organization involved in the propagation of a certain view about highly politicized topics. NCSE says about itself: NCSE defends the integrity of science education against ideological interference. We work with teachers, parents, scientists, and concerned citizens at the local, state, and national levels to ensure that topics including evolution and climate change are taught accurately, honestly, and confidently. But do these kind of organizations teach evolution honestly?
According to NCSE There is no scientific debate about the fundamentals of evolution. Life evolves; species descend with modifications from other species.* But anybody who researches evolution objectively knows that there is much debate about evolution, certainly its fundamentals, within and without the world of evolution itself. To say there is no scientific debate about a theory based on unprovable philosophies like naturalism and uniformitarianism, which have to be taken by faith, is dishonest to say the least.
Nobody ever observed any species evolve into another, i.e. macroevolution. All we have ever seen is variety within a kind, i.e. microevolution, within the limits of the species' own genetic makeup. Science doesn't even have a proper definition of a species, so to talk about speciation or macroevolution as fact is disingenuous at best.
The National Center for Science Education ... defends the teaching of evolutionary biology and opposes the teaching of religious views in science classes in America's public schools. ... The NCSE ... helps to coordinate the activities of people fighting creationists. NCSE also opposes intelligent design and other "alternatives" to evolution.*

By only allowing evolution theory as the explanation for everything these organizations undermine objectivity in science and they keep the majority of the public ignorant of the problems with evolution theory. So the main goals of these kind of organizations is to propagandize evolution, to win the souls of as many people as possible, and to oppose all other worldviews. Pretty much like any other religion does. They sell evolution theory, based on unprovable philosophies, as science and as fact. They can do that because naturalists run and control the world of mainstream science since the 19th century. See also Social Darwinism and Defamation.
AAAS
The American Association for the Advancement of Science, or AAAS, is another very powerful mainstream science organization which propagandizes evolution. Here's another typical aspect of the way of working of these kind of organizations...

...high schools are required to teach the scientific consensus in any field. Evolution is the overwhelming scientific consensus... The panelists suggested a number of helpful websites: The University of California Museum of Paleontology; The Talk.Origins collection of articles and essays that offer a mainstream scientific view on evolution and creationism; The Panda's Thumb; And the Clergy Letter project which offers a mainstream religious explanation of how evolution and faith can co-exist.*

These organizations sell evolution theory mainly through the educational system of schools and universities. They control the science departments and decide what is taught and what is not. The "overwhelming scientific consensus" is like the argument from authority. It says absolutely nothing about the truth of the matter. It is rather a logical result of the monopoly of powerful naturalists within the world of mainstream science. Just like any religion became the overwhelming concensus in any religious part of the world, materialism became the overwhelming concensus in the west. The science will be unnecessarily biased by any concensus. Paradigm shifts show that the scientific consensus has always been wrong more or less.
Science is limited and has little power when it comes to origins because it is necessarily based on assumptions and philosophy. In this sense one good philosopher is worth more than thousand good scientists who base their conclusions on bad philosophy.
In order to promote the evolutionary gospel these kind of organizations only reference other pro-evolution organizations run by fanatics who are of course sponsored by those mainstream science organizations themselves. Birds of a feather flock together. AAAS for example mentions Talk.Origins and Panda's Thumb...
Talk.Origins

This is a screenshot of the sources used by Talk.Origins on their page called 29+ Evidences for Macroevolution. It's not that difficult to see through the scam going on in the world of mainstream science. Organizations like NCSE, NAS and AAAS mention Talk.Origins or similar organizations, sponsored by themselves, in support of evolution theory. Then Talk.Origins returns the favor and mentions AAAS, NCSE, NAS, etcetera. Evolutionists promoting evolution by means of evolutionists promoting evolution. Birds of a feather flock together. It is one big family of self-proclaimed monkey descendants devoted to their common incest tree using each other in support of their fantastic and fanatic belief. Here's a statement from Talk.Origins...
The primary reason for this archive's existence is to provide mainstream scientific responses to the many frequently asked questions (FAQs) that appear in the talk.origins newsgroup and the frequently rebutted assertions of those advocating intelligent design or other creationist pseudosciences.*

Talk.Origins is an offshoot of mainstream science organizations which is led by like-minded people who oppose all other worldviews that question evolution. Of course it promotes another pro-evolution website called Panda's Thumb which in turn promotes Talk.Origins and the previously mentioned mainstream science organizations that also sponsor them. Etcetera.

Obviously, NCSE is a powerful mainstream science friend of Talk.Origins.

Talk.Origins ... maintains an extensive FAQ on topics in evolutionary biology, geology and astronomy, with the aim of representing the views of mainstream science. It has spawned other websites, notably TalkDesign "a response to the intelligent design movement", Evowiki, and the Panda's Thumb weblog.*

Talkorigins.org has gained awards and recognition over the years ... The Archive is also referenced in college-level textbooks and has had material from the archive incorporated into over 20 college or university courses.*

Organizations like Talk.Origins and Panda's Thumb serve as an extension of mainstream science for propagandizing and popularizing evolution theory. NCSE mentions Talk.Origins extensively on its own website in order to support its articles, see for example NCSE search: "Talk.Origins"* or NCSE search: "Panda's Thumb"*. Birds of a feather flock together.
Eugenie Scott
source
When asked whether evolutionist Eugenie Scott, director of NCSE at that time, would object to including scientific papers that question the evolutionary worldview in science classes she first evaded the question. Then she continued saying that she believes that students should not be bothered with scientific problems for current explanations of for example the origin of life, but instead should be taught the basics of evolution. In other words, the evolutionists in control of the world of mainstream science obstruct the teaching of any problems with evolution theory in science classrooms. They promote their worldview, censor the problems with it, and exclude all other worldviews. It needs no explanation that it's very damaging to science to impose on it a certain philosophy while excluding all other philosophies. Evolution is the religion of the atheists and naturalists who have corrupted the world of science at least since the 19th century.
