Vicar of Christ
Antichrist
According to Catholicism the Vicar of Christ is the earthly representative of God or Christ. Papal supremacy is the Catholic doctrine that the pope has full, supreme, and universal power over the whole Church. The Catechism of the Catholic Church states that the Pope enjoys, by divine institution, supreme, full, immediate, and universal power in the care of souls* and "Believing" is an ecclesial act. The Church's faith precedes, engenders, supports and nourishes our faith. The Church is the mother of all believers. "No one can have God as Father who does not have the Church as Mother".* But according to the Scriptures the Son of God has God as Father without having the Church as Mother. These Catholic doctrines are all about power. The Catholic authorities try to place themselves between God and the people. The idea of an earthly representative of God or YHWSO is contrary to God's Word...

John 14:6 (TS2009)
YHWSO said to him, "I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

According to the Scriptures nobody comes to God except through His Son YHWSO. Clear language. The Scriptures teach that any person on earth can build a personal relationship with God through His Son. Not by intervention of any other human being or organization. Despite this Scriptural fact practically all Christian denominations present themselves, their organization or their leader, as representatives of God or His Son. They represent the Christian LORD who is easily identified as Satan who wants to be worshipped instead of God and thus deceives mankind.
Pontifex Maximus
The Pontifex Maximus (Latin, literally: "greatest pontiff" or "greatest bridge-builder") was the high priest of the College of Pontiffs in ancient Rome. This was the most important position in the ancient Roman religion ... it gradually became politicized... the title of "Pontifex Maximus" was applied within the Roman Catholic Church to the Pope as its chief bishop.

The pope wears the pagan title Pontifex Maximus.

To the Roman Empire succeeded the Papal Monarchy. The Pope called himself Pontifex Maximus ... Almost every step of this transmuting process can be followed when we pass out from the less lightsome centuries of the Christian origins. The Church in the West was to develop under the style of the Pontifex Maximus, in accordance with old Roman sacred rites, and by the strength of the Roman Law.

The Roman Catholic Church is a continuation of the Roman Empire.
Tiara
The papal tiara is a crown that was worn by popes of the Catholic Church from as early as the 8th century to the mid-20th. ... The papal tiara originated from a conical Phrygian cap or frigium. ... The words that were used when popes were crowned were: Accipe tiaram tribus coronis ornatam, et scias te esse patrem principum et regum, rectorem orbis in terra vicarium Salvatoris nostri Jesu Christi, cui est honor et gloria in saecula saeculorum ("Receive the tiara adorned with three crowns and know that thou art father of princes and kings, ruler of the world, vicar on earth of our Saviour Jesus Christ, to whom is honour and glory for ever and ever").*

A conical or cilindrical cap or crown adorned with two or three rows of horns indicates divinity or semi-divinity. The tiara appears in the Coats of arms of the Holy See and Vatican City. It symbolises rulership over the whole world. According to Church Vestments: Their Origin and Development by Herbert Norris it has its origin in the Phrygian cap* which is also worn by the pagan god Mithra* worshiped in mithraism*. This is confirmed by Britannica*. What's for sure is that such hats are common in pagan cultures and symbolize power. See also for example crowns of Egypt.
In the Pyramid Texts, Utterance 524, we read: O Horus, meet me, for I wear the White Crown, the Eye of Horus wherewith one is strong. The White Crown of Egypt is very similar in appearance to the tiara. The Pyramid Texts describe the nature of the pharaoh as Horus during his lifetime. The Eye of Horus is a symbol of power.
Be like God?
Revelation 20:11 (TS2009)
And I saw a great white throne and Him who was sitting on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away, and no place was found for them.

Isaiah 37:16 (TS2009)
O YHWH of hosts, Elohim of Yisra'el, the One who dwells between the kerubim, You are Elohim, You alone, of all the reigns of the earth. You have made the heavens and earth.

Revelation 4:6 (TS2009)
And before the throne there was a sea of glass, like crystal. And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures, covered with eyes in front and in back.

The great white throne described in the Scriptures is Almighty God's throne. During the celebration of the Vespers of the Solemnity of the Conversion of Saint Paul on 25 January 2014 the pope is sitting on a white throne between two cherubs and four other Vatican puppets. This is pure blasphemy. Since the very beginning people have been deceived by Satan to "be like gods".
Antichrist
The word "antichrist" combines two roots: ... (anti) + ... (Khristos). [anti] can mean not only "against" and "opposite of", but also "in place of".*

A vicar is a representative, deputy or substitute; anyone acting "in the person of" or agent for a superior. "Vicar of Christ" means "substitute of Christ". The Greek word anti does not only mean "against" but also "in place of" (see Strong's Concordance: 473. anti). So the word Antichrist can mean "opposite of Christ" or "instead of Christ". It is obvious that the pope, as the "Vicar of Christ", puts himself in the position of Christ on earth and at the same time he opposes the Word of God given in John 14:6. So the pope fits the description of an antichrist bothways.
