Global Empire
In a capitalist democracy, such as the United States, it is controlled by what Professor C. Wright Mills has called the Power Elite. This Power Elite directly employs several millions of the country's working force in its factories, offices and stores, controls many millions more by lending them the money to buy its products, and, through its ownership of the media of mass communication influences the thoughts, the feelĀings and the actions of virtually everybody.
The power elite are defined as a group of persons who by virtue of position exercise much power or influence. They own and control all major aspects of society. Among the power elite we find a hierarchy of power which disseminates from the top down. They work closely together in order to protect their own interests and those of the power elite above them. By means of their own think tanks, NGO's and foundations they give the false impression of impartiality and even present themselves as philanthropists while extreme inequality keeps growing in their favor. Who benefits? Personal gain is the number one motive in a materialistic world. They own and control the major financial institutions and tax havens by which they enrich themselves at the expense of the rest. They own the world's largest for-profit corporations exploiting the earth, its resources and the people. They finance aggressive wars for power and profit. They own and control the media and educational system, including the major universities, which are all used to control the ideas and beliefs of the masses. They own and control the national and international judicial system. They own most of the politicians who sell the elite's agenda to the masses by means of lies, deceit and omission. These crony politicians are usually rewarded afterwards by means of lucrative positions in corporations, banks or other international organizations owned by the power elite. Their agenda is globalization which is fundamentally opposed to sovereignty and democracy. Already in 1956 C. Wright Mills wrote that in the major institutional areas, which he defined as economic, political and military, the means of power at the disposal of decision makers have increased enormously; their central executive powers have been enhanced. Especially since World War II we see an enormous increase in centralization of power in the hands of the globalist elite.
Human power and corruption go hand in hand. John Dalberg-Acton said that Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely. On top of that it is important to understand that power attracts the corruptible. Like predators are found around preys power-hungry people are found where most of the money is and hunt for positions of power, because money and power are closely related in a materialistic world. Because power and corruption are strongly related it is best to limit power of leaders as much as possible *, but with globalization the opposite happens, more and more power is concentrated in international organizations and multinationals owned by the power elite, taken away from nation states and people. John Dalberg-Acton said that Liberty consists in the division of power. Absolutism in concentration of power. William Pitt said that where law ends, there tyranny begins.

When secrecy surrounds government and the activities of public servants, corruption has a breeding place. Secrecy is inherently linked to corruption and it is rampant in the world of human power. David Cuillier said in 2015 that we're seeing increased secrecy throughout the country at the state and federal level. * For example Barack Obama's administration became known for its secrecy *. The power elite label everything top secret which they don't want the world to know too much about, for obvious reasons. As an example financial secrecy is installed and maintained by the elite to conceal their corruption and increase economic inequality in their own favor. A great deal of American corruption... is simply a part of the old effort to get rich and then to become richer. The same goes for most of this extremely materialistic world.
A conspiracy is defined as a secretive agreement between two or more people to their own benefit. To believe that powerful people at the top don't work together to their own benefit is naivity to the extreme. The power elite do not carry out their business in isolation... they are tied together in an extremely entangled web of control. History is replete with conspiracies. Great historical events are usually the result of powerful people making alliances to their own benefit. Conspiracy is not a theory, it's a reality.
Carroll Quigley wrote a book called Anglo-American Establishment in which he exposes the Rhodes Secret Society established in London in 1891 by Cecil Rhodes. It was renamed the Milner Group in 1901 when Alfred Milner took control. It is also called the Round Table movement and is known for the magazine Round Table being the propaganda vehicle of a handful of people... aimed at influencing those in position to influence public opinion. On the American side there were for example J. P. Morgan with his group called The Inquiry * and the Ford and Rockefeller's Council on Foreign Relations which had significant influence. The Rothschilds exerted influence in the United States through for example August Belmont *. Rhodes and Milner both felt that this band should pursue its goal by secret political and economic influence behind the scenes and by the control of journalistic, educational, and propaganda agencies. Quigley explains how these men worked in union to begin their society to control the world. He explains how all the wars from that time were deliberately created to control the economies of all the nations. The goal of these globalists and their powerful friends, all imperialists, was to expand the British Empire, including the United States, and ultimately achieve world domination. The Anglo-American Empire can be seen as an extension of the British Empire. WWI and WWII played significant roles in the transformation to Anglo-American Empire which ever since dominated the world in economic, military and propaganda power.
Cecil Rhodes was an imperialist for the British Empire who played a key role in the Second Boer War which was initiated after the Jameson Raid, the plot against the Boer government of Paul Kruger, failed. Rhodes was financed by the Rothschild family, one of the richest banking families on earth, for building his diamond company De Beers by which the power elite exploited Africa. The British South Africa Company was also financed by the Rothschilds. Another key figure was Jan Smuts who pretended to be a representative of the Boers while in reality he was a member of the Milner Group which sought to destroy the Boers and add their territory, including all its natural resources, to the British Empire.
Jan Smuts also played a key role in creating the League of Nations after WWI and its successor, the United Nations, after WWII, which became one of the major organizations run by the globalist elite by which they centralized more and more influence in the world. This is merely the tip of the iceberg of one hell of a conspiracy that culminated into the Anglo-American Empire of today. The ultimate goal of these globalists was and is to create a World Government. Thus the hand of the Milner Group appears in this work from its first conception to its final fruition, although the general public, ignorant of the existence of such a group, would never realize it. No country that values its safety should allow ... that a small number of men should be able to wield such power in administration and politics, should be given almost complete control over the publication of the documents relating to their actions, should be able to exercise such influence over the avenues of information that create public opinion, and should be able to monopolize so completely the writing and the teaching of the history of their own period. Yet this is exactly what happened.
